The entire Lucia’s Fine Food range is made using only fresh, ripe, naturally sweet Australian tomatoes, varieties which have a thick skin, dense flesh and low water content - the best for sauce making. Because tomatoes are sweetest in summer, Lucia's do not add sugar to any of their sauce products, nor do they add thickeners so our sauces in jars are all gluten free.
Lucia's Passata is the perfect beginning to a great sauce. ‘Premuim’ because we only use the very best, ripest and sweetest tomatoes. All Australian Roma tomatoes, no skins or seeds. It’s a puree so it makes soups and sauces, or add to recipes that call for canned tomatoes and taste the difference. Roma tomatoes, salt and a fresh basil leaf.
